Hello Lurkervilles - Come out, come out where ever you are...

Okay so my computer is back up and to celebrate, I'd like to give away some books. Plus I don't think I've done a contest in a while. And to be honest, Ive not been a very good blogger friend and visiting as many people as possible.

Why books? Because I get a lot from publishers to review and now they are invading my office and I need space - some are old and some are new.

But - I'd also like to find some new blogs and let you guys put your blog out there for others to find.

After all that is why you did it right.

So to enter - all you have to do is give a little pitch on your blog - be sure the blog address is in there so we can all check you out. I know how hard it is to start a blog and get no comments. Or to run and blog and want more followers. So lets get you guys meeting each other :)

I'll do a drawing of those who come out of the blogger closet and say hi in the comments. Lets say I'll give away 10-20 books. You have to be from US to get a book (unless you want to pay shipping b/c I have no money) but you can be form anywhere to put your blog out there for us to see.

All you have to do is say hi and include your blog (and email so I can get in touch with you if you win :)

Anyone of you followers can enter - old or new.

Thanks for stopping by! Ready, set, go!

Hi ya all! I'm from Canada, and drowning in books! So don't worry about entering me in the contest, but I love the idea of meeting some new folks! So stop by and I'll return the visit! Yay!

Over at Life's Like That I just like to have fun. I blog about... life (but somehow I always manage to relate it to writing or reading) hmmm. Scream addiction, I know.

Shelli, you're one of the best blogger buddies on the internet, always generous with your time, marketing expertise, interviews, books, etc. Thank you.
As for me, I muse a lot on my blog, writing haiku that emerges from my ramblings in the world. I do mini-reviews of books, write about other writers and the writing life, and I use my own photos as illustrations. I'm a former newspaper feature writer who writes mostly YA. Currently working on a fairy tale.

Hello! I am a mommy, writer, wife, daughter, sister and friend and I blog about all of it. My blog is my personal *time out* from the rest of the world. I have also recently begun my first novel and find myself completely intimidated by all of it. All.Of.It. Completely.Overwhelmed.
Please follow my blog because A.) I would like it and B.) I think you would like it.

Plus, my night side table could use a make over. Cheers!

Awesome contest. Thanks for the giveaway. :)
I blog about writing, reading, loving fantasy, and being an angsty teen.
(I must shamefully admit that I haven't blogged in a while, though. I've been in a slump.)

Thanks again for the giveaway. :) rivkarno1(at)hotmail(dot)com

From France so no books this time ;)

But I blog about my writing journey and children's books (and life) especially multicultural and endangered animal focused ones.

Love getting to know new bloggers

Awesome contest.

I blog on Mondays at Literary Rambles and mostly interview debut authors and middle grade authors and give away a copy of their book as part of the interview. Once a month I interview a kid about how they find out about books. And Casey does an awesome agent spotlight about agents representing children's authors on Thursdays.

Hey everyone! On Mondays I blog about structure and what I've learned from breaking down published novels. on other days, I love promoting other authors and asking tough questions. And sometimes when I can't handle taking myself or this writing journey too seriously, I'll bust out with something totally random and fun.

Hey there, fellow-lurkers. I'm 21 and from India (so basically losing out on the books today). Ninja YA activist, especially contemp YA, and aspiring writer playing hide and seek with her own inspiration fairy.
I talk about books and authors. And I also have a tendency to ramble a lot. And sneak in Tom Felton between posts. Yeah.

Thanks, Shelli! I'm a middle grade pre-published writer. (Like the adjective?^_^) My blog contains writing tips, nature pics, book reviews, and my storyteller's journey. It is slated for a make-over next month. Check me out at http://writofwhimsy.blogspot.com

Hello, hello! I'm Rachele Alpine. My blog is a mix of a little bit of everything...stories/thoughts about the road to publication, writing information, my life (including my super cute puppy) and pictures. My first YA novel will be published in August 2013.

Hi, Shelli,
I'm enjoying the opportunity to read your book, pre-publication.

My blog: let's say it's my take on Robert Burn's famous line about the best laid plans of mice and men. They do always 'gang aglay,' and it's pretty darn funny when thye do.

I can't wait to start checking out all these blogs! Sounds like we all have a lot in common.

I blog about what I learn as a novice writer, YA book reviews and magical creatures.

Stop by and say hello!

Ahh I love reading but can be quite slow with writing... I love school and drawing. I'll mainly be blogging about NaNoWriMo and yeah need to improve with my posts by adding more topics and contents. I will make posts suggested by readers since that's what I prefer doing. Writers are contagious in a good way. :) Looks like there's more blogs to add to my follow list. :)

I just found this post from AE Marin's blog. I'm hosting a Halloween Haunting where I'm trying to get bloggers to connect too.

Here's my info:

My blog has the longest alliteration ever, so I'll just call it Theresa's Tales. I write about writing, but not having an agent or a publishing contract. I write about teaching, but not having a full-time teaching position. Instead of saying I write about what a loser I am, I prefer to say my blog is about my writing and teaching "journeys".

Robin Reul said...

Hiya! I know you, of course, but am happy to meet other writers. I write a blog called Robin's Nest that is a chronicle of my road to publication as well as writing advice and prompts. I hope to soon branch into some reviews soon as well. The blog is located at http://robinreul.blogspot.com/

Sophia Chang said...

haha I love Theresa Milstein.

What a great idea, Shelli!

I blog about my escapades as a former actor-turned-a capella singer and the much cooler and richer people I sometimes get to hang out with.

Another fabulous idea, Shelli!!! I just blogged about this here:

Me? I blog on the writing journey like other writers, but I also blog about the journey and challenges of losing my sight. Can't get more real than that! I signed up for 20 new blogs from these comments!!! Looking forward to sharing my blog with others as well.
P.S. If I win a book, could I have a MG if you have one? Thx

There are very few that I have not been able to finish though. Come check it out!! Thanks :)

Awesome giveaway and way to get bloggers in touch Thanks girl!

Thank you so much Shelli for the opportunity to learn about so many cool blogs.

I blog at Dare to Read (http://carmenferreiroesteban.wordpress.com/) mainly about writing and everything I discover anew about my favorite poets, Federico Garcia Lorca and Gustavo Adolfo Becquer, who happen to be two of the main characters in my last novel, Becquer Eternal.
