10 Things I love about Sean Griswold's Head:
(okay not his head exactly - but the BOOK.)
- Sean! hello? You gotta love his head. It's kinda what the book's about - the dome, noggin, thinker.
- The humor - Lindsey is hilarious! I always knew this but I love to laugh out loud while reading a book
- The sensitivity of the MS angle. My grandmother died from MS so I was interested to see how it was touched upon.
- Realness - MS is scary and confusing disease. i think Payton's rx is very authentic, yet the book wasn't a downer.
- Franklin Planners - Okay I used tio LOOOOOOVE Franklin planners. I cracked up b/c I went to all the seminars with Stephen Covey. Sigh - I kinda miss the little, thick thing. I m going to look for an app now.
- Lindsey herself - yeah I know it's not about the book but she's an awesome friend and a great person that you want to hang out with again and again.
- Her BFF- Jac's - crazy schemes - oh come on you know you've semi-stalked boyfriends
- Bike riding - now I want to go get a new bike and go about 25 miles. Okay maybe just to a mexican place close by for some cheese dip but you get the point. I like that this book makes exercise kinda cool.
- The pop culture references - Love Seinfeld - yes i am old - so I got the references and they were fun.
- The good family - yes they lied about the illness but Payton's family is cool and together. Not dysfunctional or mean or broken.

I love contemporary YA reads with genuine stories and characters. Am adding it to my goodreads list now.
This sounds like a fun one. I'm glad you reviewed it because I probably wouldn't have grabbed this one on my own. Thanks, Shelli. :-)
Great review Shelli! Love that it's a humorous book dealing with a serious subject.
Funny stuff! Love the premise--it's in itself quirky and hilarious. I only recently started getting into Seinfeld. I hated it when I was younger. It just seemed like a show about nothing with really self-absorbed people. But I've caught a few episodes recently and have laughed my head off. Perhaps I'm evolving.
Found this fascinating.
This sounds like such a good book. I must read.
Sound awesome! Can't wait to read it.
Sounds like a good read - some interesting issues dealt with in a great way :)
I love books that use something humorous to deal with something serious. This is definitely a to-read!
I'm also really intrigued by this book because my uncle recently died of MS and it's something I'd watched him struggle with his entire life (plus the effect it had on my cousins) so I'm curious to see how it's handled here. Plus, YAY humor!!!
