In Untraceable - the key theme is that "every1 leaves a mark on this earth".

Grace's father's mark seems to be erased.

Grace's mark is that she makes a huge sacrifice for the right reasons.

Tell me how U plan 2 leave a mark & win a stack of books.

I leave a mark on every student I teach. My hope is they take it and use it everyday.

I will leave a mark on this earth by loving my son so much that he will pass that love down to his future children, and they will do the same!

Plant a tree
Write a book
Have a son

This is an old Spanish saying that answers your question. I have done the three, just in case.

I plan to leave a mark by writing books that entertain as well as by donating as much as I can during my lifetime to help save endangered species.

So glad to support you here today, Shelli! I hope I make my mark by letting kids know their experiences, ideas, and lives are valid.

I hope I leave a mark by passing on knowledge in any way possible, but particularly through stories.

I found my heart hurt reading your line above that Grace's father's mark was erased. So sad.

I hope to leave a mark by writing and publishing my books, by raising my two children to be honest, loving and caring people, and by decreasing my footprint on the environment.

I think about this a lot. There are the "big" things that are important to me, like raising my children with strong values and to be contributors to society. To be a teacher who inspires her students to be thinkers/explorers and maximize their potential for things that they're passionate about. But I also feel like I can leave my "mark" through the "small" moments in life, like emptying a grocery cart for an elderly person when she has difficulty doing so (with permission of course), or bringing over chicken soup to a neighbor who is sick. It's those moments that stick out in my mind the most and I hope it leaves a "positive" mark on this world. :D

This is a great question. I hope to leave a mark by raising my children to be good, honest people; by serving in my community; and by helping my students learn to have faith in their ideas and their writing.

I think I leave a mark by pushing my students to be better than they thought they could but teaching that laughter can accompany hard work.
