I will announce the Peeps and schedule tomorrow! yay! I will also have a banner if anyone wants to grab it for their blog.
Behind The Scenes Sneak Peeks
Don't forget - the BIG cover reveal is on Friday!
Stay tuned to Novel Novice's blog andVania's blog this week - they are doing a big expose, showing different cover shots for Untraceable with the REAL ONE popping up on Friday.
Here are a few more shots from behind the scenes:
Vania build a net of sticks. It was a cool shot and I loved it but looked too much like Forest of Hands and Teeth. |
Model lying in vines. Grace would lie down and rest so this ended up not working for the cover. |
Me, Jae, and Vania or Author, Model, Photographer |
Do you guys have any questions for me or Vania on the shoot or cover? What is your favorite cover of all times?

So cool! Thank you for giving us a glimpse of the cover shoot. How many shots did Vania end up taking? How did you manage to choose?
Can't wait for the reveal!
WOW...time is moving along so quickly! I can't wait!! :)
so cool! I'd love to be "on set" for a cover shoot some day.
Vania took about 1000 shots over a 2 hour period.
I have always had a very specific picture - from a marketing perspective - in my head for my cover since I started the book several years ago.
So Vania jumped in from there and made it happen. She did a casting call and when I saw Jae's photo - it was Grace. Once Vania shot the pictures, we looked through the photos - she chose her top 3 and I chose mine - then we compared notes.
She and I both love love love the final :)
Wow, such a hard question!! Off the top of my head, with no pondering, I'd say Fablehaven or Maze Runner or Inkspell. :-)
Can't wait to see the cover!
I agree Jae is perfect for Grace - terrific choice!
I don't know what my favourite cover would be. I have a special boxed edition of The Hobbit I would probably put in first place. Today :)
That is so cool to see shots from the cover shoot!
Ohhhh that's a hard one. I'd probably have to say, The Places You'll Go...I LOVE Theodore G.
